Your role

As a Head of Energy Strategy, you will be at the heart of our mission, realize energy strategies that position AYA as a trusted partner for businesses navigating the energy transition. You’ll use your expertise to create and maintain a service offering that deliver measurable results in a B2B context. You will report directly to the Head of Operations or General Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Energy Strategy of AYA by maintaining and updating a cutting-edge service offering.
  • Make sure to have an update training plan for the energy managers for them to evolve and thrive in their projects.
  • Create meaningful impact by staying on top of what’s new in the different domains of the sustainable energy transition.
  • Manage and build relationships with strategic partners as energy and climate consultancies and other suppliers.
  • Coach a team of Energy Managers in the delivery of the service offering.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to translate complex energy needs into performant energy solutions.
  • Define and Track the impact of AYA’s service offering in terms of MWh, EUR and CO2 emissions.



Who you are

We’re looking for a seasoned energy expert and leader with:

  • 10 years or more of experience in the B2B Energy Sector, ideally in the sustainability sector.  Experience in climate consulting is an asset!
  • A proven track record of coaching teams, managing portfolio’s and budgets.
  • An excellent understanding of the risks and opportunities involved in the climate crisis.
  • Language: Dutch - French - English (perfect writing and speaking)
  • A hands-on, results-driven approach and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • A passion for sustainability and an understanding of the energy transition landscape.
